Certifications
Three core certifications and three specialised ones. Each is earned through the courses and lab work behind it.

DFRTI offers three core certifications in digital forensics: Digital Forensic Analyst (DCFA), Mobile Forensics Expert (DCMFE) and Network Investigator (DCNI). Three specialised certificates go deeper into malware analysis, IoT and drone forensics and cloud investigations, for people who already work in the field or have finished the core courses.
Each certification is earned through courses with hands-on labs and an exam that mixes multiple-choice questions, practical lab tasks, case studies and tool-based exercises. Every certificate carries a unique ID, so an employer or client can check it online on the DFRTI verification page.
Core certifications
The DCFA shows that you can take a hard disk, SSD or pen drive from seizure to a signed report. It covers storage, file systems, evidence acquisition and the legal side of presenting what you found.

3 courses lead to itDCNINetwork InvestigatorThe DCNI is for investigators who need to read what passed over a network. It covers packet capture, Wireshark and the traffic and log analysis behind intrusion and data theft cases.

For people who already work in the field and want depth in one area.
- Malware Analyst CertificateThis certificate is for people who need to take malware apart and respond when it hits. It covers memory forensics, reverse engineering and ransomware response.
- IoT / Drone Forensics CertificateThis certificate covers devices that are not phones or computers but still hold evidence: drones, smart home devices and the infotainment systems in cars.
- Cloud / Network Forensics CertificateThis certificate is for cases where the evidence is not on a device you can hold. It covers cloud storage accounts, audit logs and virtual machines.
